Guitar Zero Xbox360Guitar Zero is a hack that allows your XBox 360 Guitar Hero Controller to record songs in practice mode and play them back at full speed. Works like a regular controller when not recording or playing back songs.
Guitar Zero in action: Operation is simple – hold down RYBO for 2 seconds to start recording a song (recording starts when you strum the first note) and again for 2 seconds when done recording. To play back the recorded song at full speed, hold down GRYB until the LED blinks green and then strum the first note – the mod takes over from there. A user’s guide is included that describes how to store additional songs and change the playback speed, etc. Here are some pictures of what it looks like on the inside. I’ve basically spliced in between the fret/strum buttons and the guitar’s internal circuit board. I’m selling kits here for $59 including priority mail shipping. I will try to have a Google Checkout button up soon, but for now I’m accepting Paypal, e-mail me at captaincucumber@yahoo.com if you’re interested. All kits come with 64 memory banks, and Fire and Flames on expert in bank 11, Expert Boss Battle Vs Lou in Bank 12. The kit comes fully assembled and tested – you just have to connect it to the guitar with a bit of soldering… See the instructions for complete details. |
